Hard Drive Organization, tips or tricks?

So does anyone have any tips or tricks on keeping everthing organized on their drives?

I am going by the organized chaos right now. if anyone else tried to find something they would be looking forever, but I know where things are. But I think I should still organize for some reason, lol.

I thought there might be a program or something out there.

So much of my stuff is used on more then one of my domains so having it in each domain would take up alot of extra space, and make updating those things a real pain, but sometimes it would be nice to know what stuff is on what sites without ftp'ing in and looking.
