of course,terra has history in our industry. Don't forger thundersex.com .They guy there was receiving insane amounts of traffic on his galleries. Easily over 1mil/day. He was everywhere with multiple listings.....

A few contradictions in cologroup's story:

Jason/cologroup claims we used 80mbps, yet his own stats show 30mbps average for week 24, that means 7mbps per month, that's 10 times less of what he claims.

$200 - server and 7 x $90 = $630 for bandwidth, total would be $830, yet Jason sent us a bill for $2300....

I showed Jason the same calculation. His answer was basicly: "We couldnt charge you only $830 after all the time our tech spent working on your server".

Yeah, so i was to pay $1500 for their tech balancing our site between multiple servers and misconfiguring it so all data transfered got corrupted and we lost half of our pages - causing us 2 weeks of downtime. Then deleting all our pages and not responding us for a week, and when we threatened to leave to another host then saying they were set up on another server, etc. etc.

I'm really tired of posting the same shit on this matter over and over again.... Jason you have 2 choices, either you can make up new stories and BS or admit that you were wrong...

Did your freehost offer FTP?
I once had a empty server standing, with freehost script installed etc. No http:// was working on the server since it was never setup probably.
But suddently it was pulling around 20 mbit or so.
Turned out it was hacked and someone was sharing files on FTP or something. Lasted for aprox 24 hours as well.
So your box was probably hacked, there was no trace of any activity on my server neither since log files usually don't show FTP / Shell activity

Your a scammer. You used a lotof of resources. This is the graph of one server. You also had the 2nd one that was using just as much bandwidth. You gave me a bad CC# and did not wire me money when you said you did. Very Simple, you SCAM, and now you got cut off by cari as well. On to your 3rd hosting company in a week.

Again you are lieing, the second server was using only 2-3mbps 1 hour after your tech closed down his "server balancing" between 2 servers in 2 different facilities. Now be a nice boy and post the graph for bsd90 if you want to argue, ok?

In defense of cologroup. I have used tons of different dedicated and virtual hosting companies over the years, and I have to tell you they are one of the best I have seen customer service wise. Jason and his support staff have always went out of there way to help me.

When I had a family emergency and had to take off to Minneapolis Jason let me hold my bill until I could get back. When a customer passed me a NSF check for design work, and I had to wait, he understood.

So I have a hardtime believing he is a crook. I have a hardtime believing he would screw anyone.

I am just an outsider in this mess and things, but for those thinking about using cologroup I just wanted you to know that Jason has always been nothing but wonderful to me and my company.

Even when we had a router problem the other day, he was working to fix it and things and was great about it.

Anyway, Thanks Jason and Cologroup for being the best server company I have used.

I've been hosting with Jason for the past 2 months. We average about 50,000 hits a day and we are growing. I have yet to have a single problem with him. Everything I wanted I got and things have been running smoothly. I find it hard to believe the people who are complaining probably cause they thought they would be able to hand 5,000 a month. But the truth is most customers over commit and fuck themselves. That's what it sounds like this guy did.
As far as Tech Support: I've had to have them configure it 5 times for my needs but everytime I asked for something is what up within the hour. So stop complaining about Cologroup cause it sounds like you don't understand the Internet Industry and pretty much fucked yourself!

Amen ! I've been with them for 2 months too and the tech guys rock ! Jason is the coolest hosting guy I've seen, and I'd like to see that 12 hours downtime, LOL !
