You hit it on the head, I noticed this years ago and coined a new term for it.

Gonzo is a personal friend of mine that I have known for years and i honestly think this is a perception issue. I think anyone that has gone to shows and has met him generally likes the guy and if you know him you know how he does things. He'll say shit thats over the top just to illicit differing opinions about a subject. I have disagreed with him strongly on more then one occasion and the conversation can be lively.

I imagine this is all about the Jordan Capri wedding night video and it must have been a good marketing scheme because it has obviously paid off for you and your affiliates. But where is the problem with Gonzo or anyone else questioning it? I doubt it had any impact on you or your business at all.

After I left WEG, everytime I had dinner with Gonzo, and even on the boards, he asked me when I was going to "get a job". Unbeknowngst to me, apparently per Gonzo and a few others (12Clicks being one of them) the only time I've worked in 14 years of being in the adult biz was the 18 months I was with WEG. Hell, even my text based freesites could probably support me and they're about 10% of my income.

If only the people who are defending him knew what he said about them behind his backs. In fact, I can't think of anyone Gonzo hasn't badmouthed at some point or another.

I put very little stock in what other people think or say about someone honestly. There is usually baggage of some sort attached with it both good and bad. I have chatted briefly with you on ICQ and did not have a problem at all. Found you to be pleasant enough guy, but if i took into account what other people might or might not have said about you i might have a different opinion......
so as not to try and be all cloak and dagger about it you and Gonzo dont get along, i know that, but i still didnt make any descisions about you until I had chatted with you myself. Thats how I am. I wonder how many people in this thread have actually met Gonzo or are just jumping because others they DO know dont like him.

I know or suspect why some of the people in this thread do not 'like' gonzo, my initial post was just an explanation as to how i think the problem between Steve Lightspeed and Gonzo occurred and to wonder outloud why Steve Lightspeed would care.
