Everytime I get a song from a friend over MSN, I try to open it and i get some stupid message saying windows denied access to this potentially harmful file, and it deletes it. Using windows XP sp2 |

				 | If it's the same friend, maybe he/she has a virus that attaches itself to his/her MP3's, and it is actually a virus he's/she's sending you. |

				 | Same problem here when using msn, especially with .exe's. I just tell whoever is sending me something to zip it up first and vice versa, never had a problem with a compressed file coming or going.
