Exodus has been bankrupt since last december.. I don't think that's the problem -- but I too am having serious problems with about 50% of the internet from Rogers in Thornhill.

Well, rogers in this area has been having serious intermittent service problems since before it was rogers. Unless it's been cancelled, there's a pending class action lawsuit about it. I was interviewed for an article in the liberal middle of last year. Search their site for "Rogers" and you should find more information about the lawsuit.

Yes, and when I try to report it to Sympatico they reply - no problems and strange I can access any mainstream website, problems only with adult sites.

Southern Ontario webmasters having problems accessing sites because there is a problem wth fiberoptics in the New York area. Many networks go thru that route. It's being worked on right now.
