I'm taking delivery of this baby today. I won a bit of cash playing Battlefield 2 at pro level (yes I am a geeky eSports player and no I'm not saying for which team). Can't wait for Crysis, Quake Wars and Supreme Commander so I can put this behemoth to the test.

I don't think that was a great deal... My advice, if you get a do over, go to 4GB of ram and go with 10,000 RPM drives.

I hope it's not Acer or Compaq

well, I did a test and I could have gotten (built myself) a computer with those exact specs for $1600 Canadian including tax and shipping. Can probably get it even cheaper if I look around more.

Do you notice a huge diference in speed compared to your old system?

nice specs....i think i should be looking into getting
a new one too...you got me all excited now:Oh crap |
I think you can do better than that.
|
Can you send it back?
You can get a better deal, Don't forget to pay attention to brand names Most people overlook the brand of the power supply, the board, the memory.. etc. Bad idea if you want a solid stable machine. |
