well, I did a test and I could have gotten (built myself) a computer with those exact specs for $1600 Canadian including tax and shipping. Can probably get it even cheaper if I look around more.

A bit of an overpayment but grats on the pc.

Built yourself is the key there. Its a bit high, but not that much when you consider the warranty, and the monitor, and OS also. I build my own also, and for that much ya I could crush that computer.

Most people overlook the brand of the power supply, the board, the memory.. etc. Bad idea if you want a solid stable machine.
