But then I wouldn't have bought half as many albums as I have done if it wasn't for mp3. Filters out the shit from the good stuff.

I'll mention because I'm listening to it now... Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven is up there with my favourite songs of all time, but I can't pick a definate best.

My favourites include songs by Ozzy, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Dire Straits, Mai Kuraki, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, L7, Metallica, Shonen Knife, Ayu Hamasaki, Jerry Vale, Tony Bennet, Radiohead, Moody Blues, The Doors, David Gray... and a few others that I missed.
