I'm with you on that one. Finally someone does something different. I used to love games, and goddamnit I'm sick of the same shit with better graphics. I was at E3 this year and after seeing booth after booth, I was not impressed. Good for Nintendo for shaking things up a bit.

A couple of friends have it and they say it gets old, fast..
xb360 for now (Gears of War, COD3, Dead Rising, etc) and PS3 later when good games are out... thats what I say.

Completely agree... this game is simply amazing.
The Wii Sports mini games also seem to be a little teaser of whats to come. When playing on the Wii you feel a bit more immersed in the game.
For example, playing golf; you really must swing your "club" (controller) with the correct velocity etc to put the ball where you want it, versus just clicking buttons.

my friend has one that he brings over. It is SO fun, and you don't have to be good at the games - anyone can pick it up and play. We have an xbox 360 which I don't really think is that interesting. But the wii rocks! Just be sure to use the safety straps. ;)Comment

I own one of them, and I love it to death, I've only had a few problems with it though.
So far I have broken 12 TVs cause I get so excited while I'm playing sometimes the controller slips out of my hands and flies into the TV.
The only other thing is that Dick keeps hiding the controllers on me, cause he says I shouldn't be playing with it in the first place.

I have a Wii and I only played it once its put away in a box for xmas. I LOVED IT. I dove over the bed to save a ball from hitting the other side of the court in tennis and almost killed myself. I broke the strap off because I hit a towel rack that was too close to the tv. Keep all obstacles out of the way. After boxing I had to rest it was a crazy workout. I would say tennis is the most fun and you can play doubles with four people. My wife was hilarious at Golf she didn't even swing the right way. I have alot of other games coming for xmas and bought the steering wheel too. This is supposed to be for my son but I'll end up playing it more.http://www.virtualhottiecash.com

By the way PS3 fanboys that will "get it later when other games are out". PS3 has shit left for unique games. I would much rather have an xbox with their huge online following and most all of the good games that PS3 will have than that turd.Comment

I have an xbox360, ps2 and Wii... So far the Wii is the most fun, I LOVE the sports games lol. Zelda is pretty cool as well. I'll be getting Red Steel and Madden shortly (you actually have to make the movements of catching the ball lol).
I'm kind of scared of xmas eve though. We are having friends over and plan on getting really wasted, I see a broken TV in my future =PComment

My buddy has one and we played for hours last night. I have to admit, it was a damn good time! Pretty refreshing compared to typical consol games. I'm hoping my finance puts one under the tree for me this year!
