WOW...There are a Ton of Sponsor Programs

Just a thought...

Barriers to enter a market often dictates competition levels

In my research there are 10X the amount of sponsor programs there were 5 years ago? Why do you think this has occured?

I guess I should give you my thoughts....

First, programs like NATS decrease the cost of investing into stats programs. In addition, with 750$ and cash flow you can call a third party credit card processor and you off to the racec with a designer and bulk content! Go Partnership with good marketing and you have the basic elements to start your own affilate program.

Don't get me wrong, it is much more difficult than this. I am hoping GFY can shed some light to this unique trend!

I am sure it was easier 'back in the day' but you were also apart of the 'gold rush'. BTW, I though you didn't work after midnight

You know I love LS!

Very True about the camera! But no matter how good you camera is, there is still an element of traffic and marketing to be competitive??? What do you think?

1. Good content got a lot cheaper and much easier to get.

2. Existing programs got too gready and a lot of affiliates got so tirred of getting cheated, shaved and scammed that they figured they'd rather set up their own program to send their traffic too.

3. Natural expanding of your existing bizz to include more posibilities and areas of the market.

That was the main reasons for me

I would say it's more like 30x more affiliate programs than few years ago. Vast majority of those get a minimal share of the adult traffic and their future is not any better. Many of those had failed on traffic field and they think/thought the aff.program work is easier to fullfill their become-rich dreams. They were wrong.

Just because there are more affiliate programs out there, it doesnt mean you will be successful. I agree with all of your statments above.

But do you think there is generally less traffic out there?

There is less traffic going to the paysites because of all the free sites. Plus with the amout of affiliate programs that have grown the amount of traffic is being so spread.

Think about it this way ... four years ago, how many sponsors did you have on your exits? And now today? I know ours are more diversified now because of the paysite choices and the amout of niches to promote.

Plus review sites make it easier to find the specific site that is best suited for the customer. Now if I have a review let's say to our MILF site and they don't like, then right there they have tons of other choices to check out. Traffic lost.

More and more people got into affiliate programs because that's where the money is ... or so everyone thinks. One has to guage the amout of work they take in comparison to the money you could POTENTIALLY earn.

NATS does make it easier, but what's the difference really between them and True Stats back in the day?

I am in this point! I already submitted galleries, I already made paid sites with licensed content and now is time to produce content. For some people this seems to be difficult to understand, it`s like to have to ask for permission to a kind of porn-god, jaja...

I think because of the blow up of single girl sites there is more sponsors these days. Really dont think there is that many more sponsors though.

You have no idea... when I ran my sponsor resource site, I would spend most of my day updating and adding sponsors... every single day.

After I hit 3000 entries, I decided it was time to sell. It was just too much for me to manage on my own.

Who do I write to when one of your affiliates is stealing our content to promote Silvercash? I tried sending it to [email protected] and the email bounced. I tried sending a direct message to LAMike at his listed icq and no response. I tried sending it to [email protected] and no response.

You guys are making it difficult to resolve this in a friendly manner...
