That's cool man. It'll take 3 months before you'll be able to feel the benefits of not smoking, but it should be worth it.
I'd suggest cutting out caffeine of your diet - at least in those quantities.. You can keep your coffee.. but go to a non-caffienated soda.. The 'spazziness' from caffeine WON"T help calming down... Good luck. :) Cheers, Matt Quote:

I guess you really can get addicted to stoges -- I smoke like one cigarette like once a season (so like 4-5 a year!). I don't really mind smoking them and only do it if I am with a friend who smokes. I don't see the point of really smoking them though. No real pleasure and the aftertaste is bad (worse than Cheerios!).

If you smoke 1 pack per day, what you should do is buy some medecine (forget name) but it takes about 3 weeks to start working and you can smoke during this time.
The first day you take it, smoke 20, then 19, 18 etc.... Instead of going cold turkey you have given yourself 3 weeks to wind down. When you reach 1 smoke per day, the medecine is starting to work. A friend of mine just quit and said this worked better then going cold turkey. Don't ask me, I still smoke but this is my gameplan for the day I decide to quit. |
