Simple: they didn't receive as many nominations this time around as did those that became finalists ? it's mathematics, nothing more.

Would you say that each nominee had over say... 10? or 20 nominations? I'm still trying to figure out how that worked out.

We received tens of thousands of nominations, so it's safe to say that all of the finalists received a fair amount of unique votes. In many cases, it would take much more than 20 nominations to become a finalist, so even getting that far is an accomplishment. Perhaps the numbers will be available after the winners are announced.

I know for sure that Stockroom.com, at a minimum, got literally hundreds of votes from our Myspace and x&q Peeps friends alone. Unless they were all lying to me, which would make me sad. But whatever our friends and fans did, it worked!! :pimp

Yeah I'd love to know those numbers. I saw people posting and got numerous icq spams wanting nominations but I never personally did that nor did anyone else in the company.

I do get alot of personal messages from webmasters that will say how much they appreciate the improvements made to the program and the more public presence Karups has now compared to before.

Guess I shouldn't overanalyze it. Just want to make sure our excitement is truely warranted. It's a good thing I guess :thumbsup
