I think half the adult biz has them, lol. I've also heard you only need to put $150K a year on your plat and you can request a black - you're just not "invited".

So, let's say 1st class is full (which it often is these days with all the ways to sit there). Will the airline give an AMEX Centurion card holder preference over, say one of the airline's platinum FF members?

with the card you have a # you can call for anything .. like an assistant type thing ... you call and say your at the airport and trying to get first class. they will call the airlines and get the first class flight booked for you. they have relationships with the airlines and car rental /limo /stores/ hotels/ everything you could want. you can also get free upgrades at hotels and shit like that. it's a great service if you use it

Then if I were the platinum FF member, and an AMEX Centurion got seated in 1st and I didn't, I'd be raising holy hell with the airline. JMO.

From what I can tell though, the Centurion only gives you gold FF status. I could be wrong. It's happened

Had one for a bout 2 hours once. Some one dropped it my limo, ( back when I was driving).
Gave me $500 reward for bringing it back to him. And became a regular everytime he was in Vegas
