We're all a bunch of left handed freaks on my mom's side. Not just her and her only sibling, but my grandparents, five great aunts/uncles, and my great-grandmother, too. And out of 13 cousins my age, 8 of us are left handed. I don't think anyone is on my dad's side, though.

My great-grandmother could write with her right hand, too. She told us that when she was in grade school, her teacher would stand over her with a yard stick and smack the back of her left hand if she tried to write with it. The teacher told her parents it was "a bad habit" and they should break her of it, lol.

Ambidextrous. My dad was a lefty, but he tried to get me to be a righty so I think it helped me develop both.

I am equally good or bad with a skill either way. I swing and throw well each way, but suck at kicking and writing with both.

I strongly believe that intelligence does not depend on whether a person is right handed or left handed. But just recenly I read an interesting article entitled: "Who is more successful: right handed or left handed people"
It turned out that there are some fields in which left handed people are usually more successful than right handed people, mostly sports: boxing, fencing, etc. The reason for it is probably the effect of unexpectedness: the usual technique of boxing presupposes a right handed rival...

I've noticed over the years that if a woman has real breasts, the one on the dominant side always seems to be a bit smaller than the other one.

Can you confirm this from your family history?

I've noticed over the years that when men want me, and other ladies, to talk about our female parts, they usually ask random questions that, on the surface, don't seem to relate at all to said female parts.

However, if it helps you out- yes, my boobs are real and no, I've not noticed that phenomenon. But in the interest of science, when we get together for Christmas, I will ask to see all the females' boobs and report back to you. Merry Christmas. :smilie_we

I can actually write with both hands although i use the left hand mostly. For all other handles i always use my left hand (yeah, also rubbing one out :winkwink: ). I play soccer and i'm what they call a double footer, use both feet although my left foot has a more powerfull kick.

the data does say that, but left-handed people are different, so theyre more likely to spend more time studying and away from "the groups" at school.

It's just something I've noticed and never found mentioned anywhere. I've even tried to figure out why: maybe the breast muscles on the dominant side are more active and thusly burn more fat?

I find that mildly interesting to ponder. Pay some attention to the issue it if you will, I may be right on this.
