CANADIANS do i need passport to go to mexico ?
i dont have canadian passport
only i have citizen card and driving license can i still go to mexico from canada ?

To enter Mexico, you will need either a valid passport or your original birth certificate along with a valid photo ID such as a drivers license. anybody else confirm this ?

Depends on how you plan to cross the border. If you are flying in, then yes you need those items. If you are driving in, then you dont need them unless you plan to travel more than 100 miles south of the border.

last year when i went to mexico
all i had was a birth certificate + my drivers if your not landing in the states you should be fine

Also, I know the rules are changing for canadians to enter the USA in January - you will require a passport. Therefore, maybe NAFTA may expect the same. I am not sure, just something to think about.
