i think a bad economy will increase sales of porn booze and drugs . people get depressed when they loose money and will tend to search for things that make them feel better. just my 2 cents.

See where the NASDAQ is right now 1300 - it started at 500 over 20 years ago ... how about a Dow at maybe 5000?!

really though i think each person has there own point of view on when it has crashed. me im 30 so any money i have invested for my retirement im ok . but alot of my friends who are in there late 50 s and have lost just about there whole retirement fund in the last 11 months i would say it has crashed for them. becuase advisors will tell them that it will take 15 years to get back to where they were. That also means back to work for alot of people who did not think they would ever work again.
