Sometimes however networks and advertisers try to make money for themselves by cheating you by running code that attempts to install spyware on your PC. There are lots of places that do this and tracking them down is extremely difficult. It is a snipe hunt because they do redirects to redirects and often target specific countries, times of day, and show at random times.
