Wow... Didn't expect to see you labeling people in such a manner... Just because you have ink doesn't mean that you are doing it to be a bad ass. Some people get inked with a purpose...Tributes, rememberance or just to remember a period of time in your life.

Putting something on your skin permanantly is the ultimate form of devotion to something. It's something that'll be with you until your dying day.

just got back from a trip through TX and the south.

stopped at a few places to eat along the way "Waffle House" chain, Denny's, etc.

a few of the waitresses in those places had visible tatts on arms, hands, etc.

once these gals were fresh and "cute", now these old gals work for minimum wage, serving up scrambled eggs and corn beef hash to truck drivers.

i'm sure if they could get a better job they would do it.

visible tatts on a young women severely limit her choices later in life.

But dont they always look so clean and proper in a white wedding dress.

I think that depends on the quality of the ink, and the quality of the woman for that matter. Some tattoo work is certainly no better than your average auto parts store flame decal, but quality artistry can actually improve the overall look of the car and/or the girl. Sure, not everybody likes the look of unique custom cars, or women, but a lot of people respect and admire good work. And yeah, trashy work looks like trashy work, regardless.
