				 | Christmas shopping - I LOVE the internet! I'll have to hit Walmart and Eckerds for a few stocking stuffers, but everything else has been bought online. Landsend and Amazon stuff wrapped and sent to the recipient out of town. Everything else sent here for family and friends in town. I LOVE THE INTERWEB!! Thank you Al Gore (and Alienq) |

				 | Amazon alone has more or less transformed holidays here. For giving, shopping from the recliner in the living room can't be beat. And for receiving, I haven't found anything faster or easier for the "what do you want?" question than a simple, "Amazon giftcard" response. Technology is yummy.

				 | I'd also like to recommend BigB's http://www.killajerky.com/ Only problem was that I forgot to write a note - I hope the recipient doesn't spend much time wondering who sent it ;) |

				 | The ONLY problem I'm running into is dealing with all the boxes that come to me. We have to take our boxes to the dump ourselves, so after Christmas, I'm going to be taking a least a load or two. If there were an aftermarket place to sell Amazon boxes, I would make a fortune |

				 | I used to go on the 24th. Most stores already had their after Christmas sales marked down and the stores were pretty empty. Then it seems others found out my secret. I think the last time I did that was about 8-10 years ago and the mall was PACKED at 6PM on Christmas eve. |

				 | I am like the last person on Earth to discover this amazing wonder called Amazon. Don't get me wrong, I had heard of it, but never used it. lol. So I go there the other night because one of my buddies wanted me to test his links...and I haven't hardly been off the site since. My fucking CC is gonna be soooo maxed out. |

				 | Outside of stocking stuffers, I've been doing my Christmas shopping almost exclusively online since 99. I am not overly fond of shopping at any time of the year, and I would really rather take a solid beating than deal with holiday shopping in brick and mortars. Best of all this year was that Amazon offered me a free 30 day trial of their Prime shipping. Of course I did my shopping while that was active in November. So I was able to snag free 2 day shipping on about 80% of the stuff that I bought this year.
