Shap, sorry to burst your bubble but You are obviously not familar with camz. 1400 people in chat is not uncommon, i believe it is actually average and they do more then that during prime times.

You seem real "giddy" that you think you are over whelming their network with customers but I seriously doubt the problems were a result of too many people and more likely a problem unrelated to the number of people in chat.

I know, now you are going to say I must be friends with Dan, but i only met the guy once and he provided free drinks, so for some people yes that would mean I know him and think he is top notch. But since I am not like most people here I can tell you I honestly don't know him. I used camz several years ago and just recently signed up for it again. I have had no problems and it seems like a really good concept and a great service.

As far as the employee moderating chat, when you have 1400 people chatting asking the same questions do you think it is really being rude for the person to say " PLEASE BE PATIENT ". rude would have been " SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

They had some technical problems, you come on here bashing them, sounds like you blowing it all out of porportion, and thinking you are the man cause you brought them down - which wasn't the case.

Will you don't own a paysite. When you do and you have paying members that believe in your product and when your product is a major brand in your niche you'll understand why i felt the way i did.

Sure maybe our 1400 people to the chat was nothing to brag about. We have no experience with cam shows. That part of my post i would edit. I still stand by everything else i said. I wouldn't retract a single comment i've made regarding our members and the admin. Anybody who wants to treat my members the way they did will not do business with us. Dan and his crew have not contacted anybody in our company. That speaks volumes about how they do business. They fucked up on this show and haven't contacted us to apologize or anything.

Like i said i'm glad i found out this week after only one day of doing business with them that they are not the type of company i want to be sending my traffic to.

Funny thing is if 1400 is such a low number the admin definitely should have been able to easily handle it. She couldn't. So she obviously was the wrong person on the wrong night for that situation.

1) You're right about 1 thing Shap, you don't shit about the cam business. 1400 people is nothing.

2) What was said other than "please be patient". Am I missing the rude part? Or was it the CAPS that got your panties in a bunch?

Should they stayed quiet? Let people ask the same questions 1000 times? Should they have said "please be patient" in font 6?

I not defending them because I am friends with them or work for them, but what you are saying is so wrong I just feel like i have to point it out.

They were having technical problems, maybe the admin wasn't experienced with dealing with that people while experiencing problems. It sounds like they don't have problems often so this person might not have handled it well.

Maybe the admin was really mean to you, maybe your customers were rude and demanding, who knows unless they post the logs. You know the only thing you have quoted the admin as saying was " PLEASE BE PATIENT". You keep saying they were so rude but that is the only thing you said they told you .. SO what else did they say that was so rude?

Maybe Dan is more worried about his server move and the problems they were having and hasn't had the time to look at the logs to see what was said.

I can understand technical difficults happening the first time you do business with someone and that giving you a bad impression of them. To me it seems you started this thread to brag more then anything else and try to get a little exposure for yourself. And that is a totally no biased opinion for what is worth from someone who doesn't know either of you.

I love people on GFY. How in the hell do you know what I own and don't own? Why because I am not here spamming my program that means I don't own one or never have ?

FYI I built my first membership site back in 99, have built several since then all of which generated over 100K a year with no affiliates all my own traffic. Not that is a huge accomplishment but enough to tell you i've dealt with members first hand and more then a few. I shut my last membership site down when ibill went out of business.

Does this make me qualified to reply now ? Or were my sites not popular enough or make as much as yours for me not to care about my customers ?

This is true. I've seen a bunch of shows at over 1k people. I know because I do cam on Camz... I myself have never had 1400 but others have. Hope you get it all sorted out...

I've sat in on a couple shows and I've noticed this as well. Dealing with assholes doesn't require you to be an ass yourself.

someone named Amy is doing a cam show right now and her chat says 1001 .. no problems...everything seems to be running smooth... BTW I buy camz for my site, I do not do cam shows on it, just buy it for my members. I have been buying it for several years and sometimes they have network problems, most of the time they do not, but they often have shows with well over 1000 people in the chat...

This question has been asked a couple times by people here. Why wont shap tell us all the rude things the admin was saying ???? :warning

Sorry, I don't have the time to waste on gfy getting into fights. A few years ago I would have been all for it. Now I just have too much on my plate. My issue is with Camz not you and not any of Camz's loyal clients that want to defend them.

Regarding what the admin said. 99% of people on this board treat their members the way that admin did. So I can post everything she wrote and you would still think it wasn't rude. That's just you. My mistake was branding the chat with our site look. I should have made it clear the chat was run by another company and that Twistys was in no way involved with it. Lesson learned.

Venting. It was midnight thursday night and i felt screwed over. Again that's just me. Most site owners would not have felt the way i did and would have considered the show a huge success.

Thanks for finally clearing up how the admin was being rude. That was the only reason I was keeping up with this thread. You said several times how rude she was so I was curious to see what was said since I just subscribed to camz. Now I am finding out that obviously what she said wasn't that bad and your are ultra sensative.

Just out of curiousity, how do you get the tone of someone out of text chat?

I've done several shows on the Camz network & rarely had under 1000 people in my shows. 1400 would not be a problem. There are usually 2 or 3 girls broadcasting at the same time too.

They have the best technology out I've seen. It's not flash but seems like it. However, I think 1000 chats WOULD crash their servers.

But you could get your own streaming solution from them and some twistys exclusive girls, ...youd be set. CAMS, IFRIENDS, every chat site ive seen FPS is completely lame compared to livecamnetwork.com

We are launching a brand under them with HDCAMZ.com, or hdcams.tv, not sure.. Shap you should go in house dude, everybody depends on these cam sites too much. 2much has the best streaming ive seen.

it is generally pretty easy to determine the tone the author intended if you consider the context.
