Spirit of giving...

Who else is in the spirit of giving, we have helped two families so far this year who couldn't afford to give there kids toys, It makes you feel so good to help someone out who cant help it do to health problems or spouses who don't care.

It was very good of you to help those people...In fact, do we ever give anything to anybody disinterestedly?...

As long as we have something to give, then there'll be no hesitation on our part to extend help to those in need.

Well put. I try to get my fingers into a lot of projects and foundations year round, but during the holidays it's just beyond wonderful to help as many as you can.

I mean if you give something to someone else you wait for some reward, for example if you give a gift to a friend then you know that you can count on him/her...

I can't afford to give my children any toys this year either.

Since you are in the giving spirit and all, how about if you fulfil their Christmas wishes?

If i knew you had kids, and couldnt afford to buy them toys, Then yes I would send some gifts to them because one thing i hate is to see kids go without toys on Christmas, but i know you dont have kids and that if you did you can afford to buy them toys

Hello aaron

And how is it that you come to "know" these things?

Hell, I don't even know how many kids I have out there......

That's pretty much what I do too.

Child support payments are a real bitch. Help a brotha out.

If I have to pay all the child support then I would have money left over for milk, cookies, or hookers.

And I simply can't be having that.

Oh...And BTW....

My birthday is December 27th. The gift you sent me last year was quite nice but I'd like to see if you can top it this year.

Actually, there were more people there than that. I'd probably offer to pick the tab up on my own birthday too....That doesn't mean that the person inviting me should let me do it.

Not that I am bitching about it. In fact, I'm very happy I paid for that meal.

Xmas maybe the season for giving but the hubby and I happen to be generous all year round with both friends and family. Not just immediate family, our entire family get gifts from us at xmas and we donate money and things throughout the year as well. We have no plans for xmas but i am cooking a prime rib roast and although every year we have no plans we somehow end up with a stray or 3 over for dinner and drinks. hehehe
