Well, if you need to compare products, I would say AutoBloggerPro is more along the same lines at Rss2Blog

all that feedwordpress does is push a rss feed into the blog, autobloggerpro gives you tons of options regarding what to do with the feed before and after pushing it to the blog

tytyguy 12-10-2006 09:45 PM

feedwordpress is a plugin for wordpress it lets you add RSS feeds to your blog that update automatically.

autoblogger pro would be compared to wordpress.

I am not sure the makers of AutoBloggerPro would agree. They add an entirely new level to subscribing to Rss feeds, by doing some 'google wizardry' (amongst other things) to the imported feed.

However, if you have a few sponsor feeds that you want to import into your wordpress databases, then feedwordpress is great. It's a great thing to be able to augment your own posts with a few sonsor posts, so you don't always have to create a post, if you are time limited.

im not comparing the blogging software. i was letting him know that he was comparing feedwordpress which is a plugin to autoblogger which is a program.

Not sure why this old thread was bumped, but I'd just like to add: one of my thumb TGPs, with near zero useful keywords (the only text is the age disclaimer and a link to the webmaster signup form) gets a few hundred hits from Yahoo each day... people searching for words that only appear in the domain name.
