Windows media embedded question (safari browser)

anyone know how to make my embedded vids play in the safari browser on macs?

i'm not offering .movs yet on the site so i need to know how to add the object tags or what parameters i should change.

i did some searching but i'm no expert on stuff. normally learn as i go and it looks a little confusing.

any help is appreciated.

To ensure that it works for everyone, I'd go with Flash.

Sure we Mac guys COULD download Flip4Mac, but (I think) the Mac guys are a funny lot...

to be honest, i would agree with others in this thread

there is no reason in this day and age to use embedded videos in WM or Quicktime format, Flash is the only option these days

if you need me to convert to flash for you airek, let me know, I can do it in like 2 minutes

Do you know what codec you used? If it's Windows Video 9, or if it's protected then there is no way to play the video on the Mac unless the user first downloads something like Flip4Mac (like BB-Rick mentioned).

If you've encoded in WMV9 and need to therefore re-encode, you might consider On2's Trumotion VP6 (which is in Flash, so virtually everyone can play it).
