If you requested a fan sign, please log into the webmaster area to pick your signs up.

Fansign Rules

Due to the large volume of Fansign threads, and the spam level abuse of some, here are the fansign rules at GFY.

1. Your 'announcement' thread has to have at least one fansign in the first post. The fansign must be for one of the big posters or moderators on GFY.

2. Your fansigns must be completed in no less than three days, and you must do at least 20 of the first posters to the thread.

3. The cannot be computer generated or simple text that could have been computer generated. That is pure spam. They need to have texture and variation to them, in other words, it has to be totally obvious to anyone that they are hand made.

4. There cannot be any conditions to making a sign, such as you must signup for an affiliate program.

If you do not like the rules, don’t do fansigns and leave it up to the girls who really want the publicity.

so i take it us who arn't members of mediumpimpin.com can't get our fan signs we requested because we arnt affiliates?

I was not aware of the GFY rules but one would assume we take the time to make fansigns for you you would atlest have the courtsey to join or already be a member of the program?

I guess people really do want EVERYTHING for free.

nah, i didn't want EVERYTHING for free, i wasn't a medium pimpin member when you made the thread, but looking over the site, i recently (lastnight) released my latest project, and a good portion of your sites fit it, so i did signup, login and get my fansign, thanks, i was just curious

Well this is the first time we have done fansigns. We only could assume people who requested one would be members of MP already or would join up to then use the signs to promote the sites.

Thats how I see it.. If its against the rules and I get banned or the thread is deleted so be it.. atlest the real affiliates will find their signs.

As for people with incorrect signs etc as mentioned first time we have done this and it was a lot more work then we expected so there is bound to be some errors, as mentioned just email me and we will do our best to get you fixed up.

Looks guys, we didn't spend 5 figures to fly in models and photographers to shoot fansigns only so you could show them off to your friends and look like a player.

The purpose was to give you material to push the program with.

I'm sorry if that's agains GFY rules though we were not aware of that.

Now that I have apologized for what I am about to say here we go...

I used to really like your program, and while I didnt go out of my way to send you traffic or anything I did have several galleries up on my sites, and was planning on making more.

I will not be making more.

I know your reading this thinking oh you selfish bratty webmaster you, and yes maybe that is true, but when something is promised it should be delivered as promised.

I requested a fansign in all of the threads, and in each one I requested a different saying, so that I would not have to display 3 fansigns on my fansign page that all say the same thing, you know to give it some 'realness'. Hell, usually when I go out of my way to request a fansign I ask for on body instead of on paper because I feel my surfers appreciate the realness so it does not look like a fansign generator.

Anyway, you guys took fucking forever to make these, and did them half assed like a motherfucker.

I received 2 out of 3 fansigns requested, and both fansigns said the same fucking thing which means you did not do one of them with what I asked for.

Not to mention the writing looks like you were in such a fucking hurry that you didnt care that this was going to be used as promo content.

I actually wasn't here for the shoot but I could imagine some fansigns were lost in the confusion and some probably never even made it ot the list of fansigns to be made.

Deal is tho, they were all hand written, and I know the MP team did their best.

You're right we fucked it up for a couple of you not recieving what you asked for. Not much more I can say about that.

As for GFY banning us for breaking the rules, well that's up to them.

But again, I don't think you're being a dick, you're being fucking picky but then we offered you something that it seems we didnt deliver. I seem to remember tho that we mentioned on MP that due to the tremendous ammount of fansigns being shot we could not do too complex ones etc.

Also some of the models didn't want to do certain once cause they thought they were degrading.

I don't have all the facts but there is more to the story, but please do not judge Medium Pimpin as a company by this. It was a rookie mistake on the fansign part that's it.

I gotta get some sleep but tomorrow I will adress this issue with the owner and see if we can not move them outside of the members area.

Buddy, we're not trying to fuck anyone, we just weren't aware of these rules and as for fansigns missing, it happends. Try shooting 5 models ni one days with houndreds of handwritten fansigns ... it happends ... most companies wouldn't even handwrite them you know what I mean.

this is the first time they have ever done fan signs, and with the amount they got there was bound to be a few mistakes, I am sure they will correct them with time....open up a private dialog with Kevin or mailman and I am sure things will be worked out in time...they are both excellent guys that go way out of the way for their affiliates on the daily basis

I'm going to have to disagree. If you send them a lot of sales chances are they are already aware of you and you are being taken care of without having to post in a thread. I think by ignoring new webmasters or webmasters that don't currently promote their product they risk alienating those groups and leaving a bad taste in their mouths. When you are dealing with an individual like a webmaster something small, like a perceived slight, can go a long way towards damaging a potential relationship. As for Kimo's complaint he was angry that his signs were done half-assed...I'm sorry but there is no excuse for a half-assed job at fan sign requests. I'm not going to name the site or the program, but I was present once when a major single girl site was about to launch and she was doing live fan sign requests on this board. I can tell you as a fact that everyone present that night was intoxicated to the point of retardation, yet everyone's signs were completed accurately. I was seconds away from passing out in my own vomit but I still managed to read requests off the screen and write them down on a notepad with a Sharpie.
