yeah ok....

i just don't get it, I Mean i assume you know it's not my pic? so whats the point in posting it?

jact 12-04-2006 05:53 PM

CCBill doesn't pay out on webmaster referrals unless you're pushing joins to the site also. Pretty common, pretty sleazy.

1: Its you, stop lying.
2: Lets say i would know its you its so much fun posting it because it totally upsets you.

sharp 12-04-2006 05:54 PM

that's bullshit.

Daruma 12-04-2006 05:57 PM

zango and this policy

seems like 2 solid reasons never to promote them - in addition to the horrid conversions I've seen posted :disgust

As a percentage affiliate, you will get a percentage of all future orders and reorders by the XX members who have joined so far provided that your affiliate account is still active - we reserve the right to deactivate accounts who stop sending traffic. By analyzing your traffic conversion numbers and order rates, we can estimate that over the next few years, you will be paid an additional $XX.XX on top of your current earnings of $XX.XX.

Note: I make jack shit from these guys. Like $10 a month, not their fault, I just don't send much traffic.

Sounds exactly what is in the Stats area of AFF.

are you fucking retarded? how do you feel about the people who call you sig-whore? now I feel same way about you - some guy on a message board is telling me, that some stupid "cheers" picture of a guy with glasses is me

seriously, its retarded

go back where i first posted this pic, look up the url and if you can prove that its my, i gonna pay you $5k

it surely beats the $100 bets you're offering the n00bs

its not that it totally upsets me, I don't lose sleep over it. But I admit it, I don't want that people think it's me. I don't care MUCH about it, but i care enough to point it out

but now i'm doing it for the last time probably, I can't be really bothered to discuss it everyday

EDIT: back to topic - any other sponsors have a similar rule like AFF? :upsidedow

Wiggles 12-04-2006 06:03 PM

Fuck AFF!

StarkReality 12-04-2006 06:36 PM

Although evil, it's clever. It certainly won't be enforced on the average webmaster, rather looks like it aims on the top affiliates. In case any of them thinks about promoting a different site and pulling links, a possible account termination and loss of alot of $$$ from rebills is a quite convincing argument to stay...

sicone 12-04-2006 06:42 PM

Glad I pulled all my AFF links

gleem 12-04-2006 06:43 PM

it's one of the top reasons people are afraid to move their traffic, move traffic, lose a cut of your rebills... it's BLACKMAIL!!

If they ever do post in here (they only post their kiss ass contests here, nothing ever serious) they will just say "if you don't like that policy use the pay per sale".

Snake Doctor 12-04-2006 06:45 PM

The balance of your revshare dollars goes to Zango.

It's part of the deal they have to protect their copyrights. :1orglaugh

Am I the only one that thinks that is BS? BTW, rev-share sponsor.

Really??

Dennis69 12-04-2006 07:23 PM

Nothing surprises me with AFF anymore... glad I pulled my links months ago!

rowan 12-04-2006 07:28 PM

Interesting, I know of someone buying nocookie traffic to send to AFF, he said something vague about padding out traffic levels, now I know why...

King of Queens 12-04-2006 07:29 PM

Damn do we need a lawyer to read the tos and legal shit before signing up these days to a new sponsor?

Tuga 12-04-2006 07:36 PM

I cant believe how many people didnt know AFF did that. Very funny lol

bdld 12-04-2006 07:57 PM

i'd say this is more common with mainstream companies.

"we reserve the right to deactivate accounts who stop sending traffic"

the big players can just stop sending 20k daily and start sending 100 hits daily and by definition, they will be still sending traffic so there will be no ground for terminating their accounts

If a whale stopped sending then I think they'd be more likely to offer to suck his dick rather than close his account. :winkwink:

DirtyJs 12-04-2006 08:42 PM

Anybody realize that the guy above BDLD is the guy who was using zango to promote some affiliate programs a while back?

Martin 12-04-2006 08:56 PM

Thats some scary shit. Fucking scum bags.
