I have grown to like the Zend Studio IDE. Prior to that I used UltraEdit.

What is this HTML you speak of?!?

I use Adobe GoLive...although with their acquisition of MacroMedia, I guess I'll be giving DreamWeaver a looksee pretty quick. :winkwink:

I'm curious - the thread mentioned HTML editing and I see a lot of vi, notepad, etc. posted... Do people really use those programs as their development environments or are those just for quick HTML edits?

Just wondering, because I'll vi a file on the server to make a quick change if I have to and then do it locally via a basic text editor, but I think I'd go insane if I did any project in notepad, or any program that didn't have syntax hilighting / code completion or shit like that. That's just me, though.
