    What is the WORST hangover you've ever had?

    Whats the worst hangover you've ever had?

    I drank a bottle of Dom Perignon on saturday night and im still feeling wrecked today. This has go to be the worst hangover I've ever had...

      I've also had that once. Me and my friend got drunk out of tequila...that was my first time to drink that and I promised myself that it'll be the first and last...and because of that, I wasn't able to get to the office.

                  drank to oblivion. had to call my wife (girlfriend at that time) to come take care of me, because I wondered all the way from the bar to my office, puked all over myself, then passed clean out

                  This was at 3am and she had a big final the next day. I still hear about that one every time I drink

                                  Its odd because i think 95% of the people think they need coffee when they have a bad hangover because that makes you feel better but thats just a myth.

                                  Coffee contains a high amount of caffeine, which is a stimulant and therefore helps fight fatigue. But when the caffeine wears off, a drinker may be even more tired than before. It can help alleviate a pounding head because caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, meaning it reduces the size of blood vessels. This counteracts the effect of the alcohol, which makes them swell, making the head hurt in the first place. Unfortunately, caffeine is also a diuretic like alcohol and can make a drinker even more dehydrated than before, thereby increasing the severity of the hangover. Overall, coffee is not a good hangover cure.

                                                      My worse hangover was 2-3 years ago when I was on a roadtrip with my boyfriend. I had stop drinking completely for 3 or 4 months and decided to make an exception one night; so we drank 2 bottles of wine during dinner then hit the martini bar and then the hotel bar...

                                                      Iwas working on my second manhattan when I started feeling very bad and passed out. All I remember is seeing my bf hitting a security agent that was trying to kick me out...

                                                      Anyway, I woke up at 5 am in the hospital for alcohol poisoning while my bf spent the night in jail for hitting a security guard. I had to walk back to the hotel wearing a hospital gown (sp?) and smelling like puke. Ofcourse I looked like a total retard and they almost refused that I go back to my room.

                                                      Yeah, that was quite the hangover.

                                                                  I don't think my stories can beat mediachick's (WOW!), but I remember one instance in particular where I went to dinner & bar hopping with friends - had MUCH wine with dinner - bypassed dessert for the chocolate martini, and decided it would be a good idea to do a lemon drop at every bar thereafter....
                                                                  never got sick which was probably my biggest mistake, and the most I moved the following day was to literally crawl from my bed to the couch.... feeling the earth's gravitational pull the whole way.... it was HORRIBLE!!

                                                                                                                                                                              The worse hangover is the one where my eyes are heavy for hours, I'm too dehydrated because I forgot to drink water the night before, and I'm stooped over the toilet feeling like I need to throw up, and all I can do is dry heave because it's already been digested..... that is the WORSE.

                                                                                                                                                                              I have made a subconscious habit to chug a liter of water before I sleep... even if it means I had to stumble back to my bed and fall face flat on it, knocked out, still wearing my shoes..... and, as a rule.... I rarely mix the hard liquor I'm consuming.... it'll be a whiskey night... a vodka night.... bubbly gives me a headache!
