Read his other threads if you want to judge for yourself. MSNBC did some sort of special about him, by last count he's sending about 30,000 joins per minute to hundreds of programs, and other such nonsense.
It's pretty good stuff .. I hope he sticks around for a long time.

Ok wait a fucking second. I have spent more time in hospitals than most residents. I have spoken with numerous Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses, and everything else from lab techs to candy strippers. On just about every topic known to man it seems.
Doctors as well as surgeons do not make 400k after residency. Nope, not going to happen, does not happen, will not happen. If she is lucky, if she is in a good hospital, and gauging a few other factors. She would be expected to make approx 250k a year as a surgeon with a specialty such as Orthopedics.
This does not take into account student loan paybacks, malpractice insurance (very high for surgeons), taxes, trade organization fees, and everything else.
I do not care what anyone is told. These are true numbers from actual surgeons I have spoken with. The very few that break this barrier (250-350k) are in private practice typically doing cosmetic procedures.Comment

dont forget to take away 30-40% of her salary to cover med mal insurance, that is about what my dad paid when he was still a practicing surgeon. He was in cardiac & thoracic and I know depending on which field she goes in, it will vary some.
So lets assume she starts at 400k... minus taxes, med mal and student loans will be around 120k a year.Comment
