Need help buying a Desktop

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of a sick deal I could get for a desktop, monitor optional.

Not looking for anything crazy but I wanted to get into some music and video editing and my current computer is not cutting it.

Saw that Dell had a deal for $299 with a 17" monitor but I'm sure its junk.

Thanks.

www.dell.com make sure you get the 1-3 year warranty and you should be fine. for $299 with a monitor its good for typical web browsing, email, etc. when it dies if its still under warranty get dell to fix it. or just buy another.

Get a dual-cpu if you can afford it, they seem to run more smooth than a single CPU box - even when the actual speed is slower, maybe it's just me that finds that though.
