Yes, it is definitely the season . . . .to be riding a motorcycle.

I live by some of the largest shopping malls in the world, and as a result, there is a ton of traffic around here due to holiday shoppers. Having a bike really comes in handy as I can easily cut thru the traffic, and parking is a breeze since I can park virtually anywhere I want, and right up close to the doors of the stores.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that the weather is cooperating as well.

I was driving back from the beach on vacation the other day: one lane each way - from Half Moon Bay to my parents house in Belmont and saw a few bikers cutting through traffic by me. If I wasn't such a nice guy, I would've cut one or all of them off the road and into the ditch for being the jerkoffs they were...

Not saying all bikers are dick heads. The ones I'm referring to were two on Harley's, one on a crotch rocket. But fuck them. And fuck their idea that because they're on motorcycles means they can pass in and out of traffic as they please.

Know what? Fuck you. I have had assholes like you play games like that, and it always resulted in a few huindred dollars damage to their vehicle. Knocked off mirrors, boot indentations in their doors.

Why do you want to be a fucking dick? Would you rather they each be in their own car, ahead of you, causing traffic to be worse?

I have seen cars cut off bikers at the beach. I have taken license numbers and given them to the motorcycle riders. They are probably jealous that they are sitting in cars watching people brave enough to ride bikes in the crazy city.

Apologies I'm late in catching your reply. And in my post, I never said I'd do such a thing; only that it crosses the mind.

I find it disrespectful and rude to pass in traffic as I've seen many bikers do; i.e. cut through lanes and purge themselves up into the crossing lane at a red light. I think of it the same as a dick-head driver riding the emergency lane to skip traffic. I think the same about bicyclists riding two to three deep into the road on my way to work on a one-way road. Who the fuck are they to impair a public access way when a single-file line would suffice. I see the signs that say "share the road". Don't they?

Obviously, I'm grumpy about the situation. I can't be the only one. So, sorry man. We just disagree, I guess.
