Assuming that since you said adsense, it is for mainstream content, I am making 3 times as much money with TEXT LINK ADS each month as I do with adsense, and their "ads" are much less intrusive ...
All you need to do is allocate the real estate on your site(s) to TLA, and they do the rest ... selling your spots for you for top dollar(s)!!! And since they were acquired last month by MediaWhiz (although they will still operate under the TLA brand) the advertiser database has more than tripled! I have used (and still use) both AdEngage and Adbrite, but they both can take a long hard suck on my pee pee as far as profitability go ... This ain't no game yo .... Im in it for the money!!!  (and for those keeping score, I make about $200-250 a month with adsense)
