headshots don't hurt so bad, either because they hit your mask, or they're just hitting a hard surface in the first place. its getting hit in softfelsh that hurts. the neck is definitely the most painful shot i've taken. i was playing along a little creek in a ravine one on one against a buddy not long ago. i stepped out from behind a big rock and he had me lined right up, i didn't have a clue he was on me already. i got shot just to the left side of the adams apple right in the throat... pure pain... hurt way worse than direct paintball to cock shots i've taken...

The Lightspeed crew used to play paintball every Friday after work in an indoor place. It was a blast.

Once I snuck around the side of a van in a sneak attack close to the other team's base. I thought no one would see me and I was wrong. I turned the corner and there was six of them with their rifles pointed at me. I started to run backwards in the sand, lost my balance, and flipped over landing on my feet and then fell backwards on my ass.

From that day on they called me flipper.
