I just got back from a long trip - i know i am late with a payment, but damn, didn't i drop $300 the first month which should kinda cover this crap or something? you disabled me the same day as contacting me about late payment - jesus. i've paid every other month just fine.

i hope that you gave him notice before you did this. No offense or anything but it really pisses me off when a host "suspends" an account due to a billing issue ( understandable if its a very recent account though )
I have had several times when there was a problem with the billing ( not on my end ) and my account was suspended and it caused big big problems.. especially when im making 5% profit on $500 worth of ppc buys = i just lost a few months profit for one day of downtime all over a small biling issue
p.s. this is not whith phatservers , i have always been satisfied with my phatserver account ( although dont think i have ever had a billig issue )
obviously there are many other issues that could come into play here but just wanted to voice my opinion

and like i said, if you had some decent way of billing me, you could just charge my card or something instead of me having to enter my card details into paypal every month.
the hositng has been 100%, it's just this suspention and billing shit that sucks.
I've used a card with Phatservers for years with no problems.
In fact, there was a problem. My card expired and they contacted me about it, and I called them and updated the info that day. All was happy and there was no down time.

We do have auto-billing, many customers use it. Our Pay Pal is [email protected] , it should list that address right on your invoice.
I'm not billing so I can't say for certain when your payment was due, but this would be a first for me to hear about somebody being disabled on their first late payment notice. I'm sure many here on GFY could attest to that. But I will look into it for you.
We are very easy to get a hold of. I'm always online and so is our support team. An email or ICQ to any of us could have resolved this problem quite quickly.

Multiple notices go out when no payment is made, just like when you are late on your electric bill...you get plenty of time to pay with out being suspended.

thats no excuse, if you go away and know you wont be here to pay your hosting because of it, why don't you message sly or someone and say "hey, im going on a long trip and wont be here on billing day to pay my bill, so heres it in advance" i don't think they would double charge you
be smart, think ahead, they did what they had to do, you have ample time to pay your bill, its your fault for not paying it when it came do, not theirs... they have a business to run, and if they slacked and let it keep going, they are out money, and if they let it slide because you have been paying it on time for a few months, then whats to say about you thinking "oh i can just let it go longer" and then when you don't even realize it, your next months bill is due, oops they just footed your bill for the month in hopes you would pay it in a timely manner

Just wanted to make sure.. i have all my shit on autobilling but even that doesnt always work ( i.e. epassporte suddenly decides to "verify" your account and whammo hosting is dead = profits are dead = no more hosting heh )
I had a host do this recently that i hosted with for over 3 years steady with several accounts, and the billing issue was their fault not mine.. their reply "it automatically does that when theres a billing issue" my reply " well make it NOT do that " their reply . " That cant be done sir" My reply " then i cant host with you , cancel my accounts and fuck you very much "
