Could Dating Programs with Geo-ip get in trouble?

Basically they're misleading the consumer by saying a specific chick is in the same town that you are. Didn't think much about it until I noticed that AFF has some tiny little disclaimer line that says that only the pic on the ads are real.

I'm pretty sure it's covered by the TOS. Almost all programs have loads of fake profiles, it keeps the guys happy...it's all about illusions, like everything in adult, hehe

hehe yes TOS would cover it, but perhaps not in the misrepresentation sense. as its considered falsified.

In my mind, this is different than "fake" profiles, which can be done by anyone, and it's a bit more than just misleading. The Geo-ip ads are a blatent lie in order to get the surfer to sign up. It's like your site saying you have 1000s videos inside for the surfer to watch and you only have 10. I'm pretty sure that's illegal.
