I noticed at the time all the clips used in that particular vid for that song, were of horses falling over/being killed during horse races. After reading some of the comments on YouTube, i see she broke her arm falling from a horse before (was news to me). I guess she holds a grudge !


Apart from that the concert actually surprised me. Was a really good show !!

The video is quite simply more of Madonna marketing 101: Do things that are outrageous, attempt to offend as many groups as possible so people talk about you in the media and chat rooms (much as we are doing here).

The reality is that she has limited singing talents (she has a very small range), and that almost all of her celeb and public exposure has come from dirty, stupid, or rude things she has done to be in the media. From "like a virgin" to the sex book to kissing Britney on national TV, every step is all about getting people to talk. The music is almost entirely forgettable 1 second after it stops playing.

She is playing you... and profiting from it every day.

Why bother? She is old and at the end of her career. I will give her points for keeping it going as long as she has though. I quit going to concerts for the most part 'cause it seems like a lot of times the ticket prices are there just to boost the performers ego. "Look, they will pay $300 just to see me on stage!"
