Glad to hear no serious damage was done.

Some technophobe who doesn't believe in the use of electricity volunteer to do any gardening for you lately?

TurboAngel 11-28-2006 07:59 AM

Close only counts in horseshoes. Get back out there and try again!

Actually I've had close calls walking the fence lines on my property as well. With all the elm trees suffering from dutch elm disease there are a lot of hardwoods standing between the fields just waiting to drop a nice sharp branch on you. I have to clean them up all the time so the horses don't fuck themselves up on them.

I'm really glad you're ok, but like the others said you should get it checked out. Better safe than sorry.

get to a doctor asap - you could have done serious damage and just not having any symptoms yet.

Exactly what I was thinking - try to bring up your appointment and if they are doing a scan, please let them know about the branch story so they go a little lower to make sure you're all good. You don't want something insignificant to irritate the tumour.

update.. just for those worried. i ran into my regular gp doctor at the store and he took a look , but he was pretty vague . said nah you would have felt something by now lol I said "but some people on the internet ..." he cut me off and said " stop getting medical advice from the internet , i tell everyone that " i'm like but.. heh.. fucking doctors .. i also have heard stories like mentioned above , one where some lady just got a chiropractic and it pinched a nerve the wrong way in her neck and she dies a few days later or something , freaky anyways hopefully im fine , strangely today the back ofmy skull is very sore and that isnt where it landed , it hit the top .. ( bruised brain ? ) dunno but i fell fine other than the sore skull

Don't you have a brain tumor???

We were told to seek treatment immediately if my dad ever got a knock on the head. Depending on what treatments or medications you're on, even a slight bump can be dangerous. I would skip the GP and contact your neurologist/NO asap. Don't take a chance with something like that.
