The article just reaffirms that what I think is "hot / cool / money worthy" on the "interwebs" is usually far beyond what 99% of the population surfing the web thinks. Perhaps one day, I'll get off my hobby horse, bite the bullet and do stuff I think is retarded yet would be highly enjoyable by a large group of people I should cater to.

Believe it or not, I actually got an email today about SEO in Second Life, and setting up your own business in the virtuall world.
Pontiac, Dell, Nissan, Reuters, Sony, BMG, and Adidas and a few other companies have set up shop.
The email says $500,000 a day trades hands in Second Life.

Theres also another one called Entropia Universe. They have an ATM card (works in over 1 million ATM's worldwide) that you can use to withdraw real cash money from your Entropia Account, from income you have made in their world.
