I never have a set recipe to go by..always try to use fresh ingredients and just a few favorite spices

I like making paella, it turns out different everytime so I have no set recipe. Just lots of rice with saffron and some seafood stuffs (crab meat/lobster meat, etc.) and some other junk with olive oil mainly.

This is fast, taste good and healthy:

Cook some rice. Cool it with cold water and mix it with a little bit oil.
Mix it with fresh; tuna fish, paprika, corn, leek, tomato pieces.
Serve with bread.

Stolen from the ex...but i like creamed corn. WARNING: will turn you into a doughboy/girl from eating too much of it!



1 lb. frozen sweet corn

1 C low fat whipping cream

2 tbsp. butter

2 tbsp. flour

2 tbsp. sugar (or to taste)

1 tsp. salt

First thaw the corn and set aside. Slowly heat up the butter in a medium sauce pan over low-medium heat - carefully so it doesn’t burn/brown. Next add the flour to make a roux. After that is cooked through, slowly pour in the whipping cream and stir until the roux has dissolved. Now add mix in the corn, sugar, and salt. Let it simmer for probably another 5 minutes before serving.

This is a really quick and easy side dish for casual meals. You can spice it up for a fancy meal by putting the corn in individual baking ramekins, sprinkling some parmesan (or your favorite cheese) and putting it under the broiler for a few minutes.
