What is adsense? Im familiar with adwords and everywhere i go all i find is people telling me not to use adwords, although i would really like to because yahoo sponsored search seems to work well... well i think anyway, it converts at about 15% for us... is that good? What experience do you have with adwords and what recommendations could you make on using it vs not?

Yes you can make money with adwords, but be prepared to lose some until you find something that works. With Yahoo you bid on a keyword and your ranking is determined by the price you are willing to pay. Well Google uses some bullshit formulas to rank keywords. They recently added a landing page quality score and if you don't score well they won't show the ads unless you pay some ridiculous price. They have fucked me on several ads. It appears they do this to drive up the price of keywords. If I didn't need them to make money I would stop using them today...greedy fuckers
