That's insane to me. I'd much rather put down $30-$50k into a car I'll use just as much and put the rest into property or something that keeps it's value. That being said, I say go for the cheaper car :)

I actually agree. Although I still think 40+ for a car is too high unless it's a family car that is decked out with shit for the kids.

But I live in the city and never drive. I have a Monte Carlo that gets the job done. Still, I'd rather put my money into properties, investments, and so on that earn money instead of a car that will be worth scrap metal in 10 years.

What do you need a car that big for? Just because you're obese?

i'm thinking more and more like this these days...
why have a super pricey car. new car yes - I always drive something under 3 yearsa old...
$30 extra into a car or use that as a downpayment on an investment property...

hummmm - not that hard a decision. I'll take the land

This was the mistake I made in 2006. Bought to many fast cars and lost interest in them in 2-3 months. Where I should of invested in property.

This is the latest car in my garage but gona sell it soon and call it a day with sports cars.

a FJ, you must be kidding. I think you would regret getting that once the "coolness" wears off. Get the 350.

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
In BRABUS Racing version with performance-improving fuel cooling, custom camshafts and an open racing exhausts system maximum power output of the supercharged V8 engine increases to 660 hp / 486 kW at 6,500 rpm. The exhaust system is not certified for use on public roads. Thus equipped the SLR storms to 100 km/h from rest in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 340 km/h.

Mine is for sale if you want it ?

I also have another in the Porsche showroom now waiting for us to take delivery.

So there is a new or used 997 Turbo for sales in UK if anyone is interested. ;)

Both black, used is one manual and new is tip.

Toyota is the best vehicle out there.. go for it....

reynold 11-26-2006 06:40 AM

I just hope you'll truly enjoy what you'll be having. :pimp

Mysterio 11-26-2006 06:45 AM

I was never much to get cars to try and impress people. If you're buying a car to get looks you're obviously trying to compensate for lacking somewhere else. Buy a car you like and is what you want and is what you need for a vehicle(the FJ).. Not a car you think chicks will dig.

evildick 11-26-2006 06:49 AM

I'll never buy a new car again after seeing what my car dealer friend can get them for at the auction when they come off the end of a 2 year lease. Such a waste of money. I know you are leasing them so this doesn't really apply to you, but for anyone wanting to purchase them, a new car isn't really the way to go.

I would take the Toyota out of the ones you are considering.
