having chest pains

got back from my dr's office yesterday. blood pressure is the best it's been in 10 years. in best shape i've been in in 10 years. work out a lot now cardio and weights.

so at about 10pm last night and today so far my chest hurts - around where my heart is. skipped my workout last night cause of it. THINK it MAY be from bench press and the like but now it's 4 days since my last chest workout and this only started last night....

i'm thinking it may be some sort of cold - but anything with chest freaks the fuck out of me......

thoughts?

I had something like that, turns out I was taking supplements and not able to digest them terribly well, and it was a big assed gas bubble. I solved it with predigestive enzyms

Go to the doctors, they will put you under a stress test, monitor your heart on a treadmill for 15 minutes at different speeds. Then they will give you a monitor to wear for 24 hours, they will be able to nail down any possible problems or future problems. I am sure your fine.

Lately every morning i wake up and i feel like my fingers are broken, no idea how to diagnose that haha.

Take a painkiller. If it goes away, its probably just a muscle thing. Like in most cases.

I went to the doc but the dickwads didnt find anything wrong.. it went away

I think mine was due to the weight lifiting and ovedoing it.... only god knows

All chest pains should be checked out with your doctor, but the vast majority of the time it is nothing...muscle cramps, gas...and sometimes they can't pin down what it is.

I used to suffer terrible chest pains when I was younger...it was nothing...and they never determined what caused them...I ended up calling them "growing pains" lol

Seriously, if there is a problem with your helth and you are worried about it, go to the doctor´s and let him have a look immediately. Health is nothing you should fool around with.

The tightness in your chest, it almost feels right above your heart? Is usually from your muscles.

I have always worked out in way or another. However when i hit the weights it is always the same thing with the chest region.
I asked the doctor about it and he said if your gonna have a heart attack you will know it...ever since then I have heard countless guys I talk to say they all have the same feeling in their chest and all of them say they do weights? Coincidence?

Anyway awesome that your taking good care of your body, especially when your a bigger guy the heart has a lot more blood to pump. Good idea to keep the heart in good condition ;)

You'd be surprized what kind of pain you can get trough heart burn and bad digestion... Many people rush to the hospital thinking they're having a heart attack when a glass of eno would've made all the difference-lol.

Bench press and exercises that uses muscles that you are not use to might also be why... But hey im not a doc, if it keeps hurting, you should go for consultation. But remember if you're anxious about that pain, it can only increase it. The mind is strong.

I thought I was having a minor heart attack or something similar. Ruled out panic attacks, etc. Finally went to the doc and it turned out I had an infection in the heart lining - between the muscle and the chambers, basically. It made the tissues swell, so whenever I was under a little physical strain it would put undue pressure on the heart. Nothing terribly dangerous, just hurt a little and scared me more than anything else

A couple trips in for anti-biotic drips and problem gone.

Well it could be as simple as acid reflux (hurts in the chest) but I'll tell you, when my father was 42, he had a great physical checkup, and died 2 weeks later of a massive heart attack.

Enuff said man.

hope you get well soon..you sure it's not heart burn caused by being too much acidic.. but the best way is to seek your Cardiologist's advise. Heart problems are traitors.. they strike anytime..Hope it's not that serious..
