    where can I get buy some Playstation 3's?

    going to america in a few weeks till january. Can you just walk into a bestbuy or something and buy playstation 3's or are they all sold out?

    I want to get a load to take back to UK since they are not releasing it here till march or something $$$'s

                                          the us version of the playstion will not work with uk games as we use pal usa uses ntsc or somthing like that so american games will only work in the ps3's if you get them over

                                              Did you read the 2 links I posted? Apparently the main issue it with online shit. You need to have an US creditcard to buy anything from their online shop with a US ps3, and apparently the online part is rather relevant.

                                              I personally am NOT going to get an US version even if I can. Not worth the hassle, I'd rather wait 4 or so months.

                                                                      HDTV standards are the same everywhere, also all modern tvs (here atleast) show both ntsc and pal stuff.

                                                                                      And what if you don't have an HDTV? Screwed. As for all modern TV's displaying both PAL and NTSC, I don't know about that, though I don't beleive that is the case in the US.
