Don't get me wrong. Its not for health reasons I'm laying off at the moment. Its more a personal decision. I tend to get lethargic when I smoke and I don't want to miss anything about this pregnancy/birth etc. Its my first and want to experience it all in a non-altered state. Q: Isn't today's marijuana much more potent than it was in the Sixties?
A: Yes, it usually is. The good news is that is actually better for you because there is more THC and less excess "material". The excess material is what damages your lungs. Also being more potent you have to smoke less to achieve the same result.

That is all great information. I've known most of that for years which is one reason I tried cannabis in the first place.
The best physical evidence I have ever witnessed was the last time I was in Amsterdam. We went into a bar for a drink after dinner and left abruptly when a couple of drunk Brits decided to beat the shit out of each other. We quickly adjourned to Abraxas (our fave coffee shop in Amsterdam) to have a space cake and chill.
People drunk on alcohol get silly, emotional, and can be violent.
People stoned out of their gourds tend to get silly and relaxed. I just can't see a stoner trying to start a fight in a coffee shop. It wouldn't happen.
Nevertheless, I personally need very little MJ to get quite stoned. Therefore I try to always be somewhere safe so I don't accidentally wander out in front of a car/tram, etc.
Anyway, as I read this I realise that I'm beginning to make less and less sense from tiredness. I'm off to bed.
