:mad It's damn hard to find a good 12" monitor.

All the off-line stores I went to carried 17" and above monitors and the online places I visited had either low contrast or touch screen ones. Where does one find a 12" (i'll take a 10" too) LCD monitor with at least 600:1 contrast ratio?

Look around enough you find anything you need.

I was running an mp3 computer back in 99-2000 off of a 5" in my truck. At that time I had to use a video card with an rca type video output.

I've seen monitors since that will take SVGA inputs, but haven't been following the market past few years, so I couldn't spout off a brand to save me.

I looked at the nextag, all of them were touch screen ones! I was looking at Canadian online store as it is simpler in shipping.
