I think you should feel sorry for your host guys 7-year-old who wants one really badly and work out a deal with him....but that's just my opinion. ;)

All BS aside, if you can get one I will pay a small premium for it. I had thought about getting Jake one for Christmas but I didn't think I was going to be able to get one in the stores and I am not going to pay $10k on ebay for one either.

Let me know if you can, but if you can't I won't hate you....I will still love ya (until I get together with your girl, of course)

They've been going for right around $1000 on eBay. Not too bad, considering they were $600 + tax retail. I remember paying $750 for the XBox 360 last year on eBay, and they only retailed for $300 I think.

My kids haven't shown much of an interest in the PS3, though.
