I think Thanksgiving should be celebrated as a time ... one brief moment in time... that the new settlers and the Native Americans DID get along enough to break bread together.

But I guess, when you really think about it, it's sort of a mocking holiday. Like "Remember when we shared a meal together? Right before I robbed and killed you when I realized you had something I wanted?"

I celebrated Canadian AND U.S. Thanksgiving this year.

Say no to the senseless slaughter of the turkey!

I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving, but it's not for any specific reason. I just don't like traditional Thanksgiving food, plus I don't really have any family besides my Mom, and she has to work this year. So, we're having lasagna, garlic bread, and salad at about 6:00PM on Thanksgiving. I'll be sleeping until then...or posting here. lol

well, tech, it is turkey day right now, (2:00am) I'll prolly be up working till 5am, sleep till about 2pm then get up make a pot of coffee and work.

I have a Turkey sub from Subway to eat for dinner (does that count?)

I just don't "Do" holidaze (cept for Xmas with my Daughter)
