Why do stoners think they're some kind of superior breed?

They act as if smoking weed is good for you and all other drug abusers are idiots and they arent. Actually they are better than most other people they seem to think. Also NONE of them are addicted

They all can quite smoking weed within a day...and the fact that they smoke 10 joints a day and look like a sloth hanging in a tree all day long doesnt mean they are addicted...uh huh sure..

Just a quick look at the coffeeshops here in Amsterdam shows what type of people smoke weed all day long.

White trash, broke ass losers, people without jobs and hippies who shower once a week.

But theyre all superior and not addicted Oh and the weed is actually good for their body. Yup, theyre really something special. Smoking weed makes you cooler than the average person.

They act like they know everything and everyone else is beneath them, constantly giving their opinions on everything and everyone like they're some kind of judgment force out to enlighten us on how we should base our own opinions.

You do make a couple of valid points. However I would rather be around a Stoner than a Drunk ANY day. Whats a stoner gonna do? Go to the fridge or cupboard and get some munchies? Compared to a drunk that takes out a bus of kids on the highway or picks a fight he isnt gonna win. Seems now that a Marijuana Ingredient May Help Alzheimer's.

Hey man, who says I do either? I was just making an observation from my point of view. I have friends that do both and I drink. I was just making a valid argument of my opinion, not lashing out at you.

I know one friend who started smoking in high school. He was reasonably intelligent, at least enough to get OK grades and hold down a job. Over the years his smoking increased to the point where he now smokes them like some people smoke cigarettes.

Having known this person for so long I can clearly say his mental capacity has decreased immensely, to the point that it is almost hard to hold a conversation with him because he is just that stupid.

For instance, one time I was at his house watching TV with him and a commercial came on for the Franklin Mint, where they were selling some sort of limited edition coins. I had to explain to him that they were in fact real metal coins and not chocolate mint coins. (I'm serious)

Maybe it is a coincidence, but I can't help but wonder if the constant pot smoking has fried his brain. Of course, people who use it on the weekend and once in a while probably wouldn't have this problem, everything in moderation I guess.

Becauase its a social thing, like a status symbol to see who can smoke the most, look like he smokes the most, and have the most.

I don't smoke weed myself anymore, I used to smoke it every day though.
I quit once I started working for myself, as I noticed ahuge improvement when not stoned (memory, ect).

I have friends who think its "weird" that I don't like to smoke weed. I tell them I like being sober better and they can't seam to understand that concept. How you could feel good being yourself.. And not being under the control of some drug.

But whatever, they can do what they want. Less time worrying about them and more for myself = better productivity and more money. They can have fun living in their trailers while I climb to the top.

I have been around a ton of crackheads, and it usually works the same there too. Ive known plenty that smoke weed, then switch to crack and go on about how pot heads are no good retards. But then when they try and kick the crack,,,,what do they turn to....

i agree with some of your points...however i do tend to think that there are better drugs to bitch about than weed.

ive always hated the anti weed commercials with a passion. not because i smoke weed...but because i feel like there are REAL drugs out there fucking up lives and ruining people forever. meth, for example. that shit is like the modern day plague.

I say to each his own as long as its not FORCED on me. I like to smoke , always have..I dont like to do any other drugs and dont even like to drink anymore..

Back in the days my family supplied the whole medical community in our town with weed...doctors, nurses, emt's....I got a real good laugh when my dad told me that my family doctor was a smoker...so sorry to bust your theory that all stoners are lazy sloths that cant carry on a conversation.
