How do I turn Auto-off off on my Canon GL1?

Using it as a webcam and it turns off by itself every 5 min. Anyone know how to turn this off?

Tape is cheap, and since Canon chose to have Pause and Record both appear in Green on the GL1, just keep it rolling until the end of the scene/take/tape. This is especially important if you are shooting with more than one video camera, since then you save time having to sync the tapes in post-production.

If you are shooting with only one cam, then just push Record every few minutes, no big deal. Even if it goes off, the white balance remains in memory if you are shooting in manual.

Yeah I'd like to know as well. I have the same video camera. It's really frustrating...
