Now it's a new page :upsidedow

Here we go... let's cut out the part about me and instead repost this about Belinda on a new page:
As for Belinda and this interview: This girl deserves much more than generic questions asked by a man who let his own dislike of me keep him from asking for questions that would really reveal Belinda's person. I know her better than anyone else, even better than her own mother in many ways. I love her deeply. Very few people are ever given access to my heart, and I gave it to her and loved her well for almost 6 years. We have a bond that will never be completely broken, regardless of whether we go our separate ways. We both have some pain to work through, but our relationship has been the most amazing relationship anyone could hope for. Belinda is a fantastic person, and it's almost an insult that this interview focuses on such superficial things. But then again, perhaps it wouldn't be so entertaining if it didn't do so. Belinda is a woman who will forgive and forget in minutes. She is a person who may not let you in for awhile, but once she does you'll find an inner beauty and strength that few can match. Yeah, she's beautiful on the outside, but that physical beauty pales in comparison to the woman inside. I was very lucky to share her heart for all these years. I was very lucky to watch her grow and I am amazed at what she has become. Her laugh... her smile... wow! She's a little smart ass and it's so cute to watch when she gives people shit. At first, people misinterpret that but once they get to know her it's one of the things they love best about her. She loves her mommy. She's a mommy's girl. If she had a certain amount of money and had to choose between something she wanted very badly or something her mom mentioned wanting in passing... she'd buy for her mom every single time. She loves spoiling her sisters and her niece. She loves flirting with the guy down the street from her mom's house that she grew up with. She loves going for long road trips. She loves pleasing her man. She loves taking care of people. She hates spending too much money on herself. Often times she'll put down a pair of pants because the cost too much, but will buy something for me that costs even more. She can be very "convincing" when she wants to be. I could elaborate on that but some things need to remain locked in my own memory. I'll just sum that part up with one word: "Yum!" She is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. Photography comes natural to her. She can just see it in her head. On days when I'd shoot, I'd set up my lights, only to have her come behind me shaking her head and changing them because she knows I had it all wrong. She complimented me well. I was very privileged to love her and be loved by her. |

These are the memories of our time together that I always want you to remember and that I want to remember cause despite our differences now, we really had a very good relationship. Thank you for your support cause that means more to me then anyone else on here. |

27. Ever had an STD?
I deal with models and the possibility of STD’s all the time so for this reason I know what a sensitive subject it is and why it is really no one’s business unless you are in a sexual relationship with that person. |

28. Belinda - now that you are single are you open to the idea of another relationship and how do I apply to get you as my love slave?
Oh no, no relationships for me. Sorry to disappoint. I need some ME time to figure out what I want to do in life. I want to focus on myself and my business, if I am not happy with that then how I can even began to make someone else happy, know what I mean? |
29. When you were 10 years old - what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to teach or be the first girl in the NBA. I use to tell my parents that and they always said they hoped it happened, then the stupid WNBA came out and my dreams were shattered. Oh well, I still had teaching. I wanted to teach up till I started college and you had to go to a school and sit in a class and help the students with work. I knew then that I did not have the patience for that at all. Not for someone else’s kids. |

Was nice chatting with you in LA btw :) |
OK guys last question.
30. Jman wants to know if you want any kids (specifically French kids)? Yes I want kids. If the guy that is lucky enough to have kids with me is French, well I will have French kids. LOL |
Wow, this ambush has more twists and turns than a foray into the Vietnamese jungle in 1968.
Belinda's a sweetheart, and Donny's always been himself -- like him or not, there's no changing that. Sometimes things don't work out between people, and there's nothing that can be done to change that. People change, move on, have their own ideas on what they want, and so it goes. Bagging on Donny during Belinda's interview, especially when she's repeatedly asked for it to stop and expressed her feelings on the situation -- whether they are her feelings forever or just for now -- shows a lack of respect for her. |

31. Have you ever placed your fingers across a chicken's ass? Is so, why would you do such a thing? |

In high school I did FFA for a year. They had a new category for judging and they needed volunteers. So, me and my friend volunteered. It was for chicken judging. In order to judge a good chicken you had to know if they were going to be good for laying eggs. To be able to tell if they were, you had to place you fingers across the pelvic bone to see how wide apart the bones were. The pelvic bones happened to be right below the chickens ass. Happy now LOL |

Yep, very happy. It amuses me to think of your fingers on a chicken's ass. :1orglaugh |
OK, someone 'splain this to me. Belinda loves Donny, Donny loves Belinda, but they aren't together because Donny didn't want to be in the business any more? My Mom's a midwife. I can GUARANTEE YOU my Dad doesn't want to deliver babies, but they still live together and have a loving relationship.

OK let me try this, may take me a while...
|
1. who gave you your start?
Donny gave me my first start. We had a model that only wanted a female to photograph her. Every since, I have been shooting most of the stuff with some exceptions of course. |
2. who was your first client and were you nervous?
My first Client was ATK. Donny had already been shooting for them when I first met him but because if an argument between Donny and one of the employees, they fired Donny. They didn?t have an issue with me shooting though so I just took over payment from them and Donny never shot for them again. I wasn?t nervous because I had already been shooting off and on. |
3. have you been in a situation where the shoots not doing well due to the model, ie; the model just isnt into it or has a attitude ect. - what do you do to work around such problems.
Happens a lot. The girls will stay out to late and be tired when they come to shoot. I usually turn on the tv really loud with some good music and just talk to the girl. I ask her questions about her life and since girls love to talk about themselves, or at least models do, within a few minutes, the mood is much better. If I have one with an attitude, I just turn to her and say, “Hey, this is what we have to do. Either you just do it or we will stop right now and you won’t be paid.” Usually that works. |
4. have you ever felt any competition between you and donny as shooters?
Nope none. He admits that I am the better photographer. Plus, that gives him a day off from working. This is a job like any other. Sometimes you just want to “stay home from work.” |
5. what types of shooting jobs do you turn down?
I don’t do hardcore. I hate shooting it. Plus finding girls to do it is nearly impossible in this conservative town. Finding a guy who can perform is hard to. We have tried in the past and the only time it ever worked was with the models boyfriend. Even then it takes the BF a long time to get comfortable and hard in front of a camera and hot lights. Girl-Girl I will shoot if I can get the girls. If a model has a friend that has posed then they will pose together. Makes things a lot easier. |
QUESTION: Explain the meaning of the term,"Bite it... Harder!!!"

6. has being associated with donny (before and after the split) helped or hindered work?
Donny was always good at getting clients and models. He did all that while we were together. Once I got comfortable on GFY and my photography, I started posting more and more of my own work. It was then easier for me to get the clients and I did get a few of my own because of it. I have never been told that someone won’t do work with me because they dislike Donny. I have heard rumors of it but no one has said it to me so I can’t say it is true. I have however had people hit me up saying they would be interested in buying from me now that he is out. It was purely out of dislike for Donny and I think they just wanted to be able to tempt some drama from him with it. |
7. describe a typical day for you –
On a shooting day, I get up and take a shower and make my daily trip to Starbucks. Then I come home and clean. I have two VERY hairy Beagles so I have to vacuum the furniture, which they think they own. I then set up my lights and have Donny stand there so I can test them out and make sure I like the output. I do that till the model arrives. Once she is there, I have her fill out paperwork and explain the shoot and what we will be doing. She then goes off to get ready. I tell her where the first set will be and the type of outfit I want her to wear. The shoot goes on for a few hours and then I pay her and she leaves. I put all my gear in a corner out of the way and put all my furniture back in place. When I shoot, nothing stays in place. It looks like a tornado came through. I then sit at my computer for what seems like hours going through photos and doing all the editing on them. I scan in all the paperwork and get things ready to mail off. I think that is pretty much it. |
