Damn, nothing like being reminded how much older I am than everyone else in my life, sheesh!

I don't get excited by birthdays anymore, though I may have a grand bash when I turn 50... I'll deserve it!

Rox!!! I miss you :( Saw your pic from the LA show - you're looking mahvelous :) Hope things are going well and hope to see you soon! Still smoking the clove cigs?

My first true love broke up wihth me right on my 19th birthday. I quit celebrating my birthday after that heartbreaking incident..

Nysus 11-20-2006 12:59 PM

It depends. A lot of people don't know how to plan fun anymore.. Birthdays can be as fun as any other day, but people are more willing to come out to a birthday party I think.. different atmosphere I think.

WebairGerard 11-20-2006 01:20 PM

Jman 11-20-2006 01:21 PM

I am turning 37 December 16th and the ONLY thing exciting about this Bday will be I will be with my family for that day and that as been over 5 years it as not happened.

Appart from that it was my 18th BDay, became an adult started to do what ever i wanted whenever I wanted. Since then it's pretty much been just an excuse to party harder with friends ;-)

4Man 11-20-2006 01:30 PM

Sarah_Jayne 11-20-2006 01:39 PM

In exactly one month I will turn 30...I am still sort of excited.

WiredGuy 11-20-2006 01:40 PM

Between 19-21 I stopped really getting excited. It reminds me I'm another year closer to my grave.

I'm 22 now, not much else to get excited about after 21. Car insurance will go down at 25... but that's about where it ends. Now I'm ust a slowly decaying piece of organic matter.

pornguy 11-20-2006 01:43 PM

I have never been much on birthdays, and I have x-mas. I put on the happy face, but it is so give me give me now days that it has turned to shit.

ADL Colin 11-20-2006 01:45 PM

Robson 11-20-2006 01:54 PM

Well, my birthday is near Christmas so I generally like to celebrate more at Christmas....but yeah, it's still exciting :)

After Shock Media 11-20-2006 01:55 PM

I think I was about seven or eight when I had no more anticipation. Before that my parents tried of course and for a few years I got to have a party or whatnot. On either my seventh or eighth birthday things had already gotten fairly bad during the previous year or so. I told my parents that I did not want a party. They still gave me a gift though, it was a shot gun that was was bought for my dad by my grandfather. I knew he could not afford a different gift and he did his best by giving me something that was more of a symbolic gift, something I really could not use nor play with for many years to come.
I had pretty much stopped asking for birthdays, Christmas gifts, and everything else. Even today I do not ask for anything and if someone else asks what I want I really have no clue nor real desire for anything. However I do buy others gifts all the time.

I am not excited about birthdays from the time when i met my husband. Before - every party for me was like intrigue. (" He loves me, he loves me not; he'll kiss me, he'll kiss me not")

Drake 11-20-2006 02:08 PM

Around 15. Now I almost resent getting older.

Zuss 11-20-2006 02:26 PM

E$_manager 11-20-2006 03:05 PM

Lauren 11-21-2006 12:00 PM

I still get very excited and happy for my birthdays...

Verity 11-21-2006 02:54 PM

hum... can't remember getting excited in anticipation though I've had some pretty great birthdays - this year it was in Kenya watching the great migration in Masai Mara. I always have to think too, even on my birthday, as to how old I actually am... sad when you can't even keep count to 23!

shannmarie 11-21-2006 03:49 PM

I just turned 25 and thought nothing of it. I haven't been excited since 21.... however, I'm anxiously excited for 30 unlike many females. Can't wait to get into my "prime" ...

tony286 11-21-2006 03:57 PM

21 it stopped

SomeCreep 11-21-2006 03:59 PM

Wiggles 11-21-2006 04:07 PM
