PanchoDog still has them on almost all of the sites. There is an easy way to link directly to the tour if anyone is interested.

i very rarely see paysites without them but i think a lot of people with blogs, free sites, etc don't want to use them because they would rather use a content rich page for the index.

I don't have them on my blog. hell, if someone types the url of one of my blogs, fuckherstupid.com they sure are not looking for disney stuff or anything kid related. I know it's still safer to have a warning page though.

I personally don't use them, I don't see the need, my domains are not deceptive at all. If someone ends up at slutsgettingfucked.com they should know that it is not going to be appropriate content.

We will shortly be phasing in a geo-ip 'over 18' joinpage in 37 languages, complete with links to the new Restricted to Adults (RTA) labeling system proposed by the ASACP.

We use them for all type ins, but for affiliate links they go straight through to the tours.

Example:
Type in Joon Mali
Affiliate link for Joon Mali

We can have the links start at the splash for any affiliate, though it is a bit redundant to come from a gallery or another adult site to the splash.

Is there a law stating you must use a warning page? What if somebody comes from a Search Engine to one of your pages without a warning page? How are people going to find your site anyway... if they know the URL or if it's a type-in they most likely know there is porn.

Any new site I make uses a warning page on the index's. I still have a few old sites that don't have them, but I'm in the process of moving them behind warning pages. It's just hard to move sites that have established trades and SE traffic with good listings.

There may not be any laws right now but I can't see how a warning page could hurt. I don't force the warning page to trades or bookmarkers it's just for direct index traffic. It's nothing that would protect you but at least you can show that you at least tried to warn people.

from a surfer point of view, I hate the "select your b-day" pages, it takes a good few seconds to select some random date and month and then some year older than 1988

I imagine some lazy surfers just close the window instead of bothering with it

yeah this is pretty much just a question to the level headed people that aren;t living on here attempting to find drama underlying the intent of the post.

it used to be that everyone made such a huge deal about warning pages. "wahhh wahhhhh if you don't have a warning page you will go straight to jail, blabh blabh blah."

lately people have kicked off on it.

by the way obsessive person always on my nuts you can stop cuz it really doesn't bother me either way.

Seems rare on tgps and blogs for sure. It's mostly a pay site thing although in the eyes of the law you're right, I'm sure it's all the same and I'm also pretty sure that if you're in the US and ask an attorney about it they'd tell you to have a warning page on any kind of site.

I agree with you man. That or most of those sites are outside the US and not within reach of the funky jesus freaks dominating the US justice system these days.

I don't host any hardcore material and hardly any nudity at all. Maybe that's why I'm not making the money I used to.

i put a warning page on every root domain so when someone types in bikinivoyeur.com or any of my other sites they get the warning.

all affiliate links are coming from adult sites so i dont se the need there, and any other pages that get spidered in search engines those surfers should have already passed through a warning page through the se's adult filter disclaimer.

I almost always have a warning page. Then I have an FPA type thing between that and the main content page. I make some great sales off those FPAs.

All a warning page really does is turn away all the surfers too impatient to click through to the next page. I believe you only have about 3 seconds to grab the typical porn freak's attention before he decides nothing interests him and he's outa there. I wonder how many sales are lost due to warning pages while if the jaded porn kunky had only gotten to the next page he might have found the site of his dreams.

I send all affiliate traffic straight to our home page bypassing the warning because they obviously came from a porn site so what's the point. The warning's just there for search engine traffic and anyone typing in our root domain thinking inthecrack.com is about something else other than girl's butt cracks.
